She's been incredibly generous and has begun to introduce the wonders of horses to her granddaughter since the day she was born. We're very lucky to have horse toys, horse clothes, horse stickers, and more. I love that Eloise will grow up (hopefully) to adore horses and that (hopefully, too!), she'll have something to bond with her Grammy over as she matures.
(As a side note....Dianne isn't the only one trying to sway opinion of Eloise and kids in the family. Turns out...it is pretty common! I do much the same with my nephews and Google/Android stuff so they don't become Apple/iPhone fanboys! At Christmas, I doled out Google shirts and mugs and show off the latest gadgets to get them to want Android stuff!)
Anyway...like I said: up until last week, Ellie's Grammy was the ONLY person to blame for the horse stuff. That all changed when we left the Great Lakes Antique Mall up in Coloma Michigan. While Nat and I were wondering around the antique booths finding little treats for ourselves, somehow little Eloise discovered - by herself - a treat for herself: A Wonder Walk-R-Ride Horse. You probably know them: they have real springs (that...GASP! are not wrapped in fabric to ensure that kids fingers/toes don't get pinched.) and this model in particular also has wheels.
Eloise couldn't help herself and wanted to bring it home. After riding it for like 30 seconds in the store, she immediately started rolling it towards the door, desperate to get it in the car. One little problem? We had to pay for it! We caught her on camera trying to abscond with it. She wasn't interested in waiting for her old man to fork over the eight bucks required to buy the horse.

Now that we've brought the horse home from Michigan, it lives in our basement. Next time you come over, I'm sure Ellie will be sure to show you him. She's quite proud of herself and her vintage purchase!
