We were able to sneak away to Michigan for a few days of vacation this week. One of our family traditions is to try to get out on the lake first thing in the morning - while it is still quiet and we can putter along the coast. After watching Daddy captain the boat, turns out that our little Eloise loves driving the boat all by herself. She'll even try to kick me out of the captain's chair and hates it when I try to help steer. She's such a big girl and wants to do it all by herself. Thus far, we've had no crashes, but I doubt that a little minor crash would assuage her that she needs some help helming the ship!

Captain Eloise - Driving the Boat
