Going to See Wilco - 2012

While it is well established that Ellie loves dressing up like a Rock Star (see evidence here of her Elton John outfit) and we've seen her get her 'groove on' by showing us her dancing moves at Elmstock last year (video of her dancing here), we weren't sure how she was going to react to attending her first ever Rock-n-Roll show.

Turns out...she loved it!  We took both Ellie and her sister Sadie to see Nat and my favorite act:  Wilco. They played at a minor league ballpark out in Kane County.

We went with Vic and Marc and their three kids which made the concert a lot more fun.  (And...Vic and Marc were nice enough to save us some seats!)  We spent the first hour or two sitting in the shade in the bleachers, but at some point, the kids got restless and had to run down on the field to burn off some energy.  Ellie loved being crazy with her cousins.  Check out their 'rock star faces'.
